Benefits of Dinkacha Ladoo
One single dinkacha ladoo will provide energy that lasts for hours as it is made with highly nutritious ingredients. It is considered as warming food especially during winter which prevents cold and cough. It can also be used as a snack instead of having processed foods. It also helps in improving immunity. Here is a recipe for dinkache ladoo which can be easily made at our home.
Ingredients
- Dink - 250 grams
- Shredded coconut - 250 gms
- Ghee - 600 grams
- Jaggery - 500 grams
- Makhane - 250 grams
- Kharek (Dry dates) powder - 250 grams
- Khas khas (Poppy seeds) - 1 tbsp
- Jaiphal (nutmeg) - 1 tbsp
- Green Cardamom - 1 tbsp
- Raisins - 50 grams
- Almonds - 100 grams
- Wheat Flour - 250 grams
Method
- Dry Roast Coconut, Kharek powder, Makhane, Khas khas separately.
- Crush Coconut and makhane into a mixture.
- Heat 3 tbsp of ghee into a kadhai and fry the dink till it becomes fluffy.
- Let it cool and crush it into a mixture.
- Roughly crush the almonds.
- Now in the same kadhai fry the wheat flour till it becomes light brown.
- Now add all the ingredients to a big flat plate and mix it well.
- Cut the jaggery into small pieces and put in the same kadhai and let it dissolve. Add it to the mixture and mix it well.
- Now make the ladoo's from this mixture and it's ready to eat.
